Camping and glamping
The barrier lifts for whoever has paid, the shower runs for the time they bought, the pitch is booked from home. Nobody has to sit in a gatehouse waiting for motorhomes.
The same old problem
On a campsite the work is not concentrated, it is scattered. Somebody turns up at eleven at night to a lowered barrier. Somebody else wants a hot shower and has no coins. A third asks for electricity for two nights and stays four. All this while somebody also has to clean, cut the grass and answer the phone.
The classic answers are tokens and keys. They work right up until the coin unit jams or the keys go missing.
What can run itself
Barrier and gate
Anyone with a booking gets in on the days they paid for. The permission expires by itself at departure, with no remotes to hand back.
Showers and facilities
Sold by time or by the go: buy three showers and you have three, to use within the stated period, and the fourth is bought from a phone.
Electric hook-ups
The pitch socket comes on for the time paid for and switches off when that period ends.
Laundry
Washer and dryer on a digital token, with no change machine to fill and empty.
Pitches sell like rooms
Every pitch, mobile home or glamping tent can have its own calendar, its seasonal price and its availability. The customer books from your shop, pays, and gets everything needed to come in and use what they bought.
On top of the stay you can sell the extras that are handled verbally today: the extra parking space, firewood, a linen set, pool access for people not staying over.
Seasons count double here
A campsite lives on high and low season more than almost any other business. Prices are set for whole periods and for single days, and when a date is approaching with nobody on it you can let it drop rather than let it go empty.
If people sleep over on an Italian site, the guest registration duties apply here too. Roraima can send the reports for bookings made on Roraima on your behalf, with your credentials, and the responsibility stays with you.
What you need on the ground
Less than it sounds: a relay behind the barrier control, one on the pitch socket, one on the shower control. These are cheap, common components, and they often bolt onto wiring that is already there. The installation catalogue has the kits and, where there is one, an installer in your area. Every sale and every switch-on uses Roraima credits: you get 500 free each month and today you cannot buy more, so a campsite with many uses a day runs through them in a few days.

Start at the barrier
It is where most time goes, and it also happens to be the easiest thing to automate.
