Roraima Vendor Guide
Roles in Roraima
Manager
Manager is a plan available to an Owner, not a third vendor role. It adds a pairing code that starts with MGR- and a Delegations path for property work. The Manager works from their own panel. Account, password and payout details of the delegating Owner stay private.
This is not the Authorized Supplier path, which uses an INS- code for devices and scenarios. The dedicated pages are Use the Manager dashboard and Delegate a property to a Manager.
The two vendor roles
Roraima has two vendor roles: Owner and Authorized Supplier. They do not publish the same kind of offer and they do not follow the same product workflow.
Vendor is only a collective word for these two roles. It should not be used when the distinction changes the instructions.
Owner
An Owner creates and configures a product for a service that the Owner is entitled to provide.
An Owner creates products of three types. Two are booked by the Buyer: Nightly accommodation, booked by the night, and Spaces and services by time slot, booked by the time slot; each is ready for Buyers once its booking settings are completed. The third, Equipment and spaces by time or by use, has no calendar: the Buyer buys the use of equipment or a space, such as a washing machine or a sauna, and starts it on site. It is available when the Owner's plan includes it and is ready once its Time and use settings are completed. The type is chosen when the product is created and cannot be changed afterwards.
When a booking includes useful IoT controls, such as a smart lock or climate control, those controls support the booked service; they are not a separate product being sold on their own.
Authorized Supplier
An Authorized Supplier is the umbrella role for a verified business. It has two subcategories, and a supplier may be approved for either one or for both:
- Seller — sells IoT devices.
- Installer — sells installation services.
The supplier works from the devices and installation services made available by Roraima. It does not create unrelated catalogue devices or installation-service types.
Suppliers approved as a Seller, an Installer or both can keep their offers up to date from a CSV file or Google Sheets. A compatible management program can also update existing offers after the company authorizes it. The connection starts in that program, so its provider must support Roraima. Only the company's main account holder can authorize or disconnect it.
Seller
A Seller is an Authorized Supplier that offers IoT devices selected from the Roraima catalogue. The Seller publishes its commercial offer for an available device; it does not create an unrelated device entry outside that catalogue.
Installer
An Installer is an Authorized Supplier that offers its own installation work for one of the installation services available in the Roraima marketplace. The Installer publishes an offer for a supported service; it does not invent a new service type outside that list.
When one supplier does both
The same Authorized Supplier may be approved to act as both Seller and Installer. Both is not a third kind of offer. It means that the supplier can follow both established paths: device sales as a Seller and installation-service offers as an Installer.
Buyer
A Buyer buys or books an Owner's service according to how the product is configured, or purchases a device or installation offer from an Authorized Supplier. A Buyer does not create or configure vendor products.
