Description
Roraima Hub is a small computer you keep at your property that checks your guests' documents before they arrive, with the help of artificial intelligence. The guest uses their phone to photograph the front and back of the document and takes a selfie. The photos leave the phone already encrypted, and the only device that can open them is the Hub, which reads the details, compares the face with the one on the document and then deletes the images. You receive the details read and the result of the comparison, not the photos, and the final decision stays with you, because the Hub helps you check but does not take your place. One Hub covers every unit at the same property.
The first start-up is done only once, with a screen that has an HDMI port, a keyboard and a mouse, and is used to choose the language and time zone. You then connect the Hub to the internet by cable or Wi-Fi, and when the QR code appears on the screen you confirm the connection from your Roraima panel. Each purchase activates one Hub, and if you do not have a vendor account yet, you receive the code to activate it later by email. Updates arrive on their own, signed by Roraima, and after a power cut the Hub starts up again without you having to do anything.
