Delegate a property to a Manager
What this page is for
Property delegations let an Owner give a Manager access to work on bookings. The Manager works from their own panel. The Owner's account, password, bank details and identity stay private. The delegation can be withdrawn at any time.
This is not a device delegation. Device and scenario access uses a different Delegations entry and an INS- pairing code.
Menu path
Vendor Back Office → Delegations → Property delegations
This entry appears to an Owner who is not on the Manager plan. An Owner on the Manager plan uses Use the Manager dashboard instead.
Add a Manager
Ask the Manager for the current pairing code from their dashboard. It starts with MGR- and expires after 72 hours.
Paste it into Property manager pairing code and choose Add a property manager. The next page shows the company that would receive the delegation. Open Read the delegation deed, mark I have read and accept the delegation deed., then Send delegation proposal.
Until that proposal is sent, nothing is delegated.
Follow the status
Your property managers and proposals lists each Manager with a status and an effective date or deadline:
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Awaiting confirmation | The Manager still has to confirm, within 14 days. |
| Active | The Manager can work on the Owner's bookings. |
| Expired | The proposal was not confirmed in time. |
| Declined | The Manager declined. |
| Withdrawn | The Owner ended the delegation or withdrew the proposal. |
An active row can be ended with Withdraw. A proposal still awaiting confirmation can be cancelled with Withdraw proposal.
Conditions
Only an Owner who is not on the Manager plan can send this proposal. A Manager cannot delegate to another Manager.
Payouts stay with the Owner. The Manager does not take the place of the Owner for account access or bank details.
