What Extra info controls
Use Extra info to decide how tourist tax is handled, what information the guest must provide before arrival and which identity-check path applies to this product.
Not every control applies to every product. Tourist tax, guest registration and identity verification are normally relevant to bookable products, and mainly to Nightly accommodation. Identity documents are not requested here as ordinary file attachments: they pass through the Roraima Hub or the identity-video path during the arrival workflow.
Menu path
Vendor Back Office → Listings and structures → Listings → select the listing you want to edit → Extra info
A listing with linked devices or scenarios also opens from Locks and devices → Devices by listing, with Edit on its row.
Inside Extra info, use the Buyer Information Fields section to add the information requested from the buyer.
Tourist tax payment
Tourist tax payment is a single checkbox at the top of Extra info, above the buyer-information rows. It is not one of the buyer information field types, and it does not count towards the row limit.
The checkbox label states its current state. Ticked, it reads Collect tourist tax after access: Roraima asks the guest for the tourist tax once access has been granted. Unticked, it reads Do not collect tourist tax through Roraima: the guest settles the tourist tax with you directly.
Tourist tax is always requested after access has been granted. It never blocks checkout, required pre-arrival tasks or access to the property.
The section appears only when all of the following are true:
- you are an Owner;
- the product is associated with one of your structures;
- that structure is in Italy and hosts overnight stays;
- tourist tax is configured and switched on for that structure.
The rates, taxable nights, age exemption and legal text belong to the structure, not to the product. Use Edit Tourist tax in the same section to open the structure's tourist tax settings in a new tab. If the section is missing, tourist tax has usually not been switched on for the structure yet.
Buyer Information Fields
Use Add field to create one request row. Give the row a clear Field label, choose its Type and decide whether it is Required.
Text and text-area answers are completed in the guest area before arrival and remain associated with the relevant booking or IoT access. Password / Access code is the only type completed during checkout.
Add only information that is necessary for the service. Up to 10 rows can be configured for one product.
Available field types
- Text — one-line guest input completed before arrival.
- Text area — multi-line guest input completed before arrival.
- Password / Access code — a static code entered during checkout; always required and available once per product.
- Guests' registration data — guest details completed before check-in; always required and available once per product.
- Identity video — manual review — a short video recorded in the arrival workflow and reviewed by the Owner; available once and does not require a mini-PC.
- Edge AI — document + selfie (mini-PC) — a document and selfie processed on the Roraima Hub linked to the product's structure; always required and available once per product.
The former generic File upload type cannot be added to a new row. A historical row may remain visible until it is removed, but it must not be used to request identity documents.
Identity verification
Identity video — manual review and Edge AI — document + selfie (mini-PC) are always alternatives: only one identity check per product. When one is already set, the other is greyed out.
Edge AI is available only when the product is associated with a structure that has a Roraima Hub linked to it. A Hub linked to another structure does not enable the field for this product. Without the required structure setup, the type remains visible but cannot be selected.
If the linked Hub is temporarily unreachable at arrival, identity review continues through a short video reviewed by the Owner. Automatic document reading resumes when the Hub is reachable again.
Identity checks support the Owner's review. They do not provide a legal guarantee of identity.

Save changes
Use the product's main Save action. Extra info has no separate save button.
After saving, review the product again if you added a required field, a password or an identity check.
Fix common problems
If Edge AI cannot be selected for a bookable product, associate that product with a structure that has a Roraima Hub, or use Identity video — manual review.
If the Hub is linked but temporarily unreachable, the Owner reviews the short identity video until automatic reading becomes available again.
If changes disappear after leaving the page, return to the product and use the main Save action.
